First, it protected fishermen from rain in the 1900s. Now, the bucket hat is making its way to the very top of fashion picks for all ages.
The Blue Whale in Catoosa is a concrete sculpture located on Route 66 since 1972. It was built by Hugh Davis as a tribute to his wife, Zelta. Originally a private project, it later became a popular swimming spot. After the passing of the Davis couple, the sculpture fell into disrepair, but thanks to the efforts of locals, it was saved. Now, it's part of a city park and attracts visitors with its history and charm.
